Itumọ Ayé translates to “The Meaning of Life” in Yoruba, and it embodies the essence of our dance company, which was founded in 2021 in Houston, TX by Carlos Suárez. A professional dancer, instructor, and choreographer from Venezuela with over 20 years of experience, Carlos established Itumọ Ayé with a clear vision: to cultivate dancers with a strong foundation in fundamentals and technique while instilling a deep love for both dance and music.

We offer group classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, alongside specialized teams, private lessons, pro-am duets, and tailored training for prestigious competitions, achieving remarkable results each year. Our teams also perform a variety of shows and are available for performances across the country and internationally at various congresses where students can take advantage of classes and workshops.
